The year 2023 brings many difficult challenges to the world. While rising geopolitical tensions continue to cast a shadow on the world's future, global economic prospects are clouded by mounting uncertainties. Inflation is soaring in most regions of the world, a debt crisis looms in the EMDE, and the reconfiguring of global supply chains is creating ripple effects across economies. Meanwhile, countries are struggling with familiar problems such as climate change and population aging. The world is in urgent need of coordinated solutions to tackle the pressing challenges facing humanity.  

As an annual convening of leading minds from around the world, the Bund Summit seeks to explore trends, generate dialogues, build consensus, and foster partnerships towards a more resilient and sustainable future. This year, the discussions will cover key issues such as global economy, green development, asset management and financial technology.  

Jointly organized by China Finance 40 Forum (CF40) and China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), the Summit will be held in Shanghai on September 22-24, 2023.
